東京都写真美術館において開催された｢森山大道の東京 ongoing｣展の図録の印刷･製本をお手伝いさせていただきました。造本家町口覚氏の造本設計にて森山大道先生の作品の魅力を余すことなく引き出した一品です。

表紙はクラフト紙にシルク印刷。極限までに盛ったシルクスクリーンのスミ色と蛍光色(初版：蛍光イエロー、再版：蛍光ピンク)によって迫力のある表紙になりました。

本文は未晒クラフト紙に対してWトーンとカラー印刷、こちらも表紙に負けず劣らず、オフセット印刷の上限いっぱいまでにインキを盛り、紙に負けないボリューム感で写真が主張する印刷になりました。

また、表紙はチリ（表紙に対して本文がへこんでいる部分）が通常の上製本の仕様より深かったり、表紙の蛍光色に合わせて花布の色や本文中の一部分の色が変わっているなど、町口氏による遊び心満点の図録になっております。

We assisted in printing and binding the catalog for the “Daido Moriyama’s Tokyo Ongoing” exhibition held at the Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Photography. This book was designed by bookmaker Satoru Machiguchi and brings out the charm of Daido Moriyama’s work to its fullest.

The cover is silk printed on kraft paper. The cover is impressive due to the extreme silkscreen ink and fluorescent colors (first edition: fluorescent yellow, second edition: fluorescent pink).

The main text is printed in W tone and color on unbleached kraft paper, and the ink is applied to the maximum limit of offset printing, just like the cover, making the photo stand out with a sense of volume that rivals that of paper.

In addition, the dust on the cover (the part where the text is indented in relation to the cover) is deeper than normal hardcover specifications, and the color of the flower cloth and part of the text change to match the fluorescent color of the cover, making this catalog full of playfulness by Mr. Machiguchi.
