Goldwinブランドの可能性を引き出すための実験的なプラットフォーム、Goldwin0。さまざまな領域のクリエイターとの協業によって、先進的かつ実験的に、人と自然がともにある未来を構想するプロジェクトです。

Goldwin0　#6　としての本を作成しました。デザインは、引き続きイギリスの世界的デザイン集団OK-RM様。ゴールドウインの“愛”を表現してほしいという依頼にこたえるべく行ってきた、映画、パフォーマンス、出版物、詩、映像、彫刻、作曲を通して追求した実験的プラットフォーム「Enquiry（探求 / 問いかけ）」のフィナーレとなる書籍です。このプロジェクトで得られた結果と学びは、この本のタイトル「物質性の本質は、もつれである」ということに集約されています。

人生におけるとても重要なフェーズでは、終わりを迎えることでリフレクション（振り返る）を可能とし、そこから新たな物ごとを始めることができます。この書籍は全面をシルバーのインキでプリントしていますが、このシルバーによって、まるでだんだんと薄れていく記憶と、新たな経験を表現しています。

用紙は、表紙と本文は竹を原料に使った「竹紙」を、カバーには特別な透明感と風合いを持つ「シープスキン」を使用しています。中綴じの形状ですが、小口側は断たず、同じ大きさの二つ折りの用紙が重ねられて本になっている形です。止めるのもゴムのみで止めています。透明性、複合的なコンビネーション、軽やかさ、好奇心、参加といった「Enquiries」の創作方法を体現しているのです。

Goldwin0 – Book #6

Goldwin0 is an experimental platform created to unlock the full potential of the Goldwin brand. Through collaboration with creators across various fields, it envisions a forward-thinking and experimental future where people and nature coexist harmoniously.

We have printed the book Goldwin0 #6. The design was again crafted by the internationally renowned UK design collective OK-RM. This publication serves as the finale of the experimental platform “Enquiry”—a project that pursued the expression of Goldwin’s concept of “love” through film, performance, publications, poetry, video, sculpture, and composition. The insights and lessons gained from this project are summed up in the book’s title:
“The Essence of Materiality is Entanglement.”

At crucial phases of life, endings create space for reflection, which then enables new beginnings. This book is printed entirely in silver ink, symbolizing memories that gradually fade alongside new experiences emerging.

As for materials, both the cover and the inner pages use bamboo paper, made from bamboo fibers, while the cover jacket employs sheepskin paper, known for its special translucency and texture. The book features saddle stitching but leaves the fore-edge uncut, with folded sheets of equal size layered to form the book. It is bound solely by an elastic band. This form embodies the creative principles of “Enquiry”: transparency, layered complexity, lightness, curiosity, and participation.
