中村屋サロン美術館様の開館10周年記念展、『中村屋の中村彜展』の図録を制作しました。

明治時代に新宿に移転したパン屋「中村屋」の創業者夫妻が芸術に深い造形を示していたことから、中村屋には多くの芸術家、文人、演劇人が出入りしていました。その様子は後にヨーロッパのサロンに例えられ、「中村屋サロン」として日本近代美術史にその名を刻むとともに、新宿・中村屋に芸術・文化の薫りを添えていました。

その薫りを今に引き継ぐべく開館した中村屋サロン美術館様ですが、当社は開館時からお取引させていただき、この10周年の記念展においても図録のデザインから印刷製本まで携わらせていただきました。今回もデザインの方向性や作品の色調等、都度細かい打ち合わせをさせていただき、タイトなスケジュールの中でご満足いただく図録を制作することが出来ました。

中村屋サロン美術館様では所蔵作品を使った羽織ノート３種も通年で販売していただいております。

We created a catalog for Nakamuraya Salon Museum’s 10th anniversary exhibition, “Nakamuraya’s Nakamura Tsune Exhibition”.

The founders of Nakamura-ya, a bakery that moved to Shinjuku during the Meiji period, had a deep interest in art, and many artists, writers, and theater figures frequented Nakamura-ya. The atmosphere was later likened to European salons, and it carved its name in the history of modern Japanese art as the “Nakamuraya Salon”, adding a touch of art and culture to Nakamuraya in Shinjuku.

The Nakamuraya Salon Museum of Art was opened to carry on that aroma to the present day, and we have been doing business with the museum since its opening, and we were also involved in everything from catalog design to printing and binding for this 10th anniversary commemorative exhibition. This time as well, we had detailed discussions about the direction of the design and the color tone of the work, and were able to produce a catalog that satisfied them within a tight schedule.

Nakamuraya Salon Museum also sells three types of haori notebooks using works from its collection throughout the year.
