サステナビリティに基づく情報収集や創造に取り組む編集プロダクション、リトルライツ様。調和と循環で成立する豊かな世界は目標である、挑戦であり、指針である、という想いを持ち、その世界に向かう創造性を美しくたたえ、ヴィジョンから学び、体験を促すことでサステナビリティという共通語の価値を高める目的で、メディア型プロジェクトTP（Tender Party）をスタートします。

今回は、そのissue #0の作成のお手伝いをさせていただきました。

冊子としてのインパクトとコスト的な効率性の両立を求めて、冊子のサイズを天地335mm×左右255mmとしました。B4（364×257mm）に寸縮みですが、この設計により刷版・印刷を４６全判よりも一回り小さい菊全判印刷機におさめることを可能にしました。Ａ４よりも明らかに大きい大判であることのインパクト、正寸の黄金比を崩すことでの感覚的な違和感による印象深さをリーズナブルに実現しました。用紙は46判サイズを指定サイズに断裁して作成しています。
用紙はラフなモンテルキアと、光沢のあるコート紙の組み合わせ。風合いのあるモンテルキアで特色ページの雰囲気を醸し出し、コート紙ページではインパクトのある写真を大胆に配置することで、冊子の中でその対比を際立たせ、読み進むうちに楽しいリズムを与えています。

品質やコストといった様々な制約や要求がある中で、製造面から精通し工場と一体となっている誠晃印刷ならば、さまざまな知恵を出すことができます。

Little Lights is an editorial production company that collects and creates information based on sustainability. With the belief that a rich world built on harmony and circulation is a goal, a challenge, and a guideline, we are starting a media project called TP (Tender Party) with the aim of increasing the value of the common word sustainability by beautifully praising the creativity that aims for that world, learning from vision, and encouraging experience.

This time, I helped create issue #0.

In order to achieve both impact as a booklet and cost efficiency, the size of the booklet was set at 335 mm (top and bottom) x 255 mm (left and right). Although it has shrunk to B4 size (364 x 257mm), this design has made it possible to fit the plate and printing into a Kikuzen-size printing press, which is one size smaller than the 46-size. We have achieved the impact of the large format, which is clearly larger than A4, and the depth of impression due to the sensual discomfort caused by breaking the golden ratio of exact size, at a reasonable price. The paper is made by cutting 46 size paper to the specified size.
The paper is a combination of rough Monteluchia and glossy coated paper. The textured Monteluchia creates the atmosphere of a featured page, and the coated paper pages are boldly placed with high-impact photos, highlighting the contrast within the booklet and creating an enjoyable rhythm as you read.

While there are various constraints and demands such as quality and cost, Seiko Printing, which is well-versed in manufacturing and is integrated with factories, can provide a variety of wisdom.
