写真家の山岸伸氏が２００７年から撮影を続けているポートレート写真展の写真集『KAO　日本の顔　scene1027-1140』を印刷させていただきました。

山岸氏が経済界や芸能界など各界の多数の著名人の方々を２００７年から撮影しつづけ、とうとうその数１１４０名。数々の人物写真は様々な環境下で撮影されていますので、まず当社プリンティングディレクターが山岸氏と綿密な打ち合わせを行わせていただきました。それぞれの写真のニュアンスを汲み取り、山岸氏の意に沿って色調補正を行い、モデルとなった人々の魅力を引き出しながら、一冊の写真集として違和感のない形に仕上げています。

２０２４年７月に東京のニューオータニガーデンコートで開催された写真展『顔』では、山岸先生ご本人がこの写真集を配布され、その出来にお褒めの言葉をいただきました。

We have printed the photo book “KAO Face of Japan scene 1027-1140” from the portrait photo exhibition that photographer Shin Yamagishi has been shooting since 2007.

Since 2007, Mr. Yamagishi has been photographing a large number of celebrities from various fields, including the business world and the entertainment world, and the number of photographs has finally reached 1,140. Since many portraits are taken in a variety of environments, our printing director first had a detailed discussion with Mr. Yamagishi. By understanding the nuances of each photo and correcting the color tone according to Mr. Yamagishi’s wishes, he has created a photo book that feels natural, while bringing out the charm of the people who became the models.

At the photo exhibition “Face” held at the New Otani Garden Court in Tokyo in July 2024, this photo book was distributed by Mr. Yamagishi himself, and he received compliments on the result.
