　コミュニケーションデザイン事業として企画・CG・コンテンツ制作などを通してコミュニケーションの質と量を変革させ、企業価値を高める活動を広く行っている株式会社アマナさま（https://amana.jp/）。多くの一流企業のブランド価値を高めるべく、様々な作品を世に送り出しています。その株式会社アマナさまの中にあるEVOKE（https://www.evoke.amana.jp/）は、革新的な最先端のクリエイティブチームであり、彼らが著者として、彼らの最新の知見や想いをまとめたのが今回の本になります。いまや制作の世界にもどんどん広がるＡＩをテーマに、一流のチームの最新の内容が盛り込まれています。

アートディレクション・デザインは大西真平氏。先進的な内容を表現するにふさわしく、オレンジと深ブルーの特色2色を全面にわたって印象的に使っています。本文は微塗工ラフ紙とコート紙を２種類使うことで、読み手に雰囲気と触感から変化のリズムを与えています。表紙にあえて縦型に帯をかけるという独特な手法で、今までにない印象を導きつつ、コート紙の帯とエンボス紙の表紙の間で縦方向での対比を際立たせることで、第一印象での圧倒的インパクトをもたらしています。

カラーページでは印象的な写真も盛り込まれ、都心にある印刷工場である強みを生かして、プリンティングディレクターがデザイナーさんの方向性も踏まえながら、印刷立ち合いも絡めつつ、高いレベルで仕上げることができました。EVOKEの先進的なイメージを体現した一冊となりました。

Amana books / between us: Re-evaluating Creativity with AI

Amana Inc. (https://amana.jp/) is a communication design firm that enhances corporate value by transforming the quality and quantity of communication through planning, CG, and content production. Their innovative creative team, EVOKE (https://www.evoke.amana.jp/), has authored this book to consolidate their latest insights and philosophies. The content focuses on the rapidly expanding role of AI in the world of production, featuring cutting-edge perspectives from this elite team.

Art direction and design were handled by Shinpei Onishi. To reflect the book’s forward-thinking themes, two striking spot colors—orange and deep blue—are used throughout. The interior pages utilize a combination of lightly coated rough paper and standard coated paper, creating a rhythmic shift in atmosphere and tactile sensation for the reader. The cover features a unique vertical belly band (obi), creating an unprecedented visual impression. This approach highlights the vertical contrast between the coated band and the embossed cover, delivering an overwhelming impact at first glance.

The color pages feature evocative photography. Leveraging our advantage as a printing factory located in central Tokyo, our Printing Director (PD) worked closely with the designer’s vision. Through rigorous on-site press checks, we achieved a high-level finish that perfectly embodies EVOKE’s cutting-edge brand image.
